What you’re buying
Mags Hartley: Stiff Upper Lip is a relatable guide to relationships in 8 short sections, plus a bonus page of Hayley’s translations. It’s a short PDF e-guide, not a printed book.
- Pre-order (until 1 December 2026): £15 (around US$20 if you’re outside the UK. Your bank converts from your local currency). You get an order confirmation straight away, and the full guide by email on 1 December 2026, sent to the email address you bought with.
- From 1 December 2026: a higher price, set at launch, delivered straight away.
- Prices include any VAT. There are no hidden charges.
If the guide isn’t ready by 1 December 2026, we’ll email you, and you can have a full refund straight away if you’d rather not wait.
Refunds and cancellations
Before delivery: you can cancel your pre-order for a full refund any time before the guide is delivered. Email show email from the address you bought with. We’ll fully refund you within 14 days of hearing from you, with no fees.
After delivery: once the guide has been delivered, sales are final because it’s a digital download. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

Privacy
This site doesn’t track you. It sets one small cookie, and only if you tick a box on the “mum says it’s for you if” note: it remembers your ticks on this device for 30 days, and nothing else. Untick everything and it’s deleted. The checkout is run by Payhip with its payment processors (Stripe or PayPal), under Payhip’s privacy policy. We never see your card details.
When you buy, Payhip passes us your name and email address. We use them only to deliver the guide, tell you about your order and answer you if you get in touch. That’s needed to fulfil your order. We keep sales records for 6 years because tax law requires it. We don’t sell your details or send you marketing unless you ask for it.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at show email. If you’re unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
